![]() ![]() I still like a little of the cooler true contour for cheeks, but I think this bronzer looks better for nose contour. I've started using this for my nose contour. It's completely lacking orange, but doesn't go ashy. I also started using Hanalei bronzer, it just comes in one shade which happens to be perfect. Fawn has a tiny pit of pink in it that is typical of ABH, it's not terrible, but MUFE is just better. The contouring shade is absolute perfection, as are the highlight colors, but I would buy this palette just for the contour shade. ![]() Now I use Makeup Forever 4 in 1 Pro Sculpting palette in Light. It's not applying a color that you like or dislike, you're just creating illusions of light and shadow. The way things look once they're blended properly built out w/highlighter/bronzer/blush and powder is completely different than looking at a color in a vacuum. You need to see it in the context of a full beat, contouring w/out a full face would look weird anyway. You can't really gauge accurately how it's going to look on your face by someone else's swatch. So, back in the day when contouring first became a thing, I used to used ABH eyeshadow in "Fawn", bc there were just orange bronzers. it sounds like i have a monstrous nose haha, it's actually stuff that literally everyone else tells me is fine, but we all know what it's like to obsess over something minor i guess somewhat camouflage the issue, since i can't address much else. My nose is fairly narrow, its just the same width all the way down p much so I just want to narrow it at the very top if that makes sense. (as for the nose shadow, actually not in my case - it's actually something i want to change, or at least draw attention away from - I have an extremely oblong-ish nose, my nose is fairly pointy from the side but the tip is very high so from the front it casts basically no shadow. I guess that's why people contour so heavily there! plus it doesn't wear well on me, i have quite dry skin on my nose. Theres probably the trouble then, i try to avoid putting foundation on my nose because it makes my face look really flat and bright.
